Amelia Mayer is the blogger behind Tales of a Mountain Mama where she’s been inspiring families to get outdoors for over 6 years. An avid hiker, biker, skier and busy mother of 5 she admits that she finds sanity and peace in the outdoors and strives to make an outdoor, active life part of her family’s normal routine.
Amelia lives outside of Teton National Park and loves waking up to the view of the Tetons.
Susan Strayer is a camper, hiker, biker, off-roader, swimmer and snowboarder who lives with her husband and three young children near Sundance Ski Resort in Utah. She also spent most of the summer of 2016 camping with her family and you’ll find lots of useful information from this adventure in the Outdoor Mom Academy.
When she’s not exploring Susan is the blogger behind Mountain Mom and Tots. Before raising kids full time and blogging part time, Susan graduated from college with a degree in Marriage, Family, and Human Development and completed coursework to be a certified family life educator. She tries to spend time outdoors everyday because it calms her and helps her be a more patient mom.
Rebecca Walsh is the founder of Hike Like A Woman, a community for outdoor women and the co-owner of Just Trails. She’s also the author of the books, How To Hike When You’re Pregnant and How To Hike With Kids.
Every once in while, she appears on television. Rebecca’s been featured on the PBS television show Travels With Darley and on promotional videos for Albany County Tourism and Wyoming Tourism (publishing summer 2018).
When Rebecca isn’t hiking, guiding trips, leading her local hiking group, writing about hiking, or teaching online outdoor classes, she’s probably doing all of those other stereotypical Mom things like folding laundry while updating social media and recording podcast episodes while cooking dinner.
